How to fully unleash the fragrance potential of Iconesse Impressions?
Burning the candle
For the first use, burn the candle until the entire top layer of wax has melted to the edges of the jar.
During burning, the wick may form a „mushroom” shape due to carbon buildup. Burn the candle for about 1–2 hours.
Do not burn the candle for a short time, such as half an hour, as this will not be enough to release its full fragrance potential. The wax will not burn evenly and will create a tunnel in the middle of the candle.
Extinguishing the candle
To put out the candle, simply cover it with the wooden lid.
Remember to set the wick upright before the wax solidifies.
Trimming the wick
Trim the wick after each burn. Do this only after the wax has hardened (wait at least 1 hour).
Before relighting the candle, cut off a quarter of the wick to fully release its fragrance and prevent smoking.
Safety
- Keep the candle away from flammable objects such as carpets, curtains, or tablecloths.
- Store out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not place the candle near heat sources.
- Avoid burning the candle in drafty areas.
- Keep the melted wax free of wick trimmings, matches, and other debris.
